MAE09 is the only UK event which focuses on the technical challenges mil/aero electronics engineers and managers face, the new and emerging technologies the industry provide, and the opportunities these open up for the future.

The focus for this year’s conference will be on how the current economic climate, and the MoD’s strategic changes are impacting the industry. The main themes will be:

3. Capability Development – what the future looks like for defence

Dr Nicholas Merriam, Rapita's Engineering Manager, will be running a demo on RapiTime 2.2 in C & Ada versions and will be located at table number 10

Dr Andrew Coombes will also be giving a presentation on RapiTime's use in avionic systems in the vendor track.
