AdaCore and Rapita Systems Ltd have renewed their partnership agreement. With the new Ada support in RapiTime, AdaCore and Rapita Systems are working to provide integration of RapiTime and the Ada compiler.

We are pleased to announce the release of RapiTime 1.1 This version provides multi-language support (English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Catalan and Swedish).

Mervyn King Visit

Mervyn King, the Governor of the Bank of England and Chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee, visited Rapita Systems during a tour of York Science Park. He watched a demonstration of our tools and discussed how technology companies like Rapita are very important in the new economy, replacing the UK's traditional reliance on manufacturing industries.

Ada Language Support

We are pleased to announce the release of RapiTime for Ada. The Ada language is widely used in avionics and other embedded systems because of its high reliability and compile-time error checking. RapiTime now directly supports Ada source code, with Ada-style annotations, test coverage metrics and automatic Ada instrumentation.

Investment and Expansion

Rapita is pleased to announce its plans to expand into new markets and the recent investment from the Viking Fund.

Rapita Systems Ltd, a University of York spin-out company responsible for developing groundbreaking new technology to help iron out costly software glitches, is preparing to expand within Europe in a bid to win a slice of a growing $44 billion global electronic control unit market. The company, which started trading in 2004, already boasts an impressive list of household names amongst its international client base.
