Rapita Systems Ltd. is looking to recruit a talented and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer / Field Application Engineer to join a small team developing Hardware and Software solutions for state-of-the-art worst-case execution time analysis tools. Working within this successful start-up company offers considerable challenges and a wide variety of work including consultancy for high profile customers and marketing activities as well as core activities specifying, designing, developing and testing cutting-edge commercial worst-case execution time analysis products.

The key job responsibilities will include:

• Development of the RapiTime WCET tool and related projects.
• Working with customers, integration of software with customer systems on-site and off-site.
• Participating in EU Research Projects.

The successful candidate will have all of the following essential skills and qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• A minimum of two years software engineering experience, including at least one year of embedded real-time systems development experience.
• Strong communication skills.

Additional experience in the following areas is desirable:

• Excellent C, Ada, Perl, Java and Eclipse programming skills.
• Knowledge of real-time systems theory and concepts.
• Desire to travel.
• PhD or post-graduate research in a relevant computer science or engineering field.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and define priorities according to project relevance.
