Requirements traceability

RapiTest helps you trace between your requirements-based tests and the requirements from which they were developed, and track your requirements coverage as your project progresses.

You can import information about requirements or test case artifacts specified in Jama Connect through direct import, and in other requirements management tools such as DOORS and Polarion through the Requirements Interchange Format (ReqIF). Importing custom formatted requirements is also supported through custom formats such as CSV. 

After importing information about your requirements or tests cases and linking them to your tests, RapiTest creates a traceability link between the artifacts. After running your tests, you can then identify your requirements coverage and test pass/fail status against each requirement from a dedicated Traceability page in your report. You can also export your traceability results in RapiTest exports.
