Rapita Systems is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the ISCLP 2026 seminar (Ingénierie des systèmes complexes à logiciels prépondérants), taking place 14-15 October 2026 in Toulouse. Now in its 10th edition, ISCLP is organized by DGA Techniques Aérospatiales and Pôle SAFE, bringing together around 200 industry, research, and military representatives from across the naval, land, space, missile, drone, and aeronautics defense domains to discuss the technical and operational challenges of complex, software-intensive systems.

As Platinum Sponsors, Rapita will exhibit at the event and deliver two presentations from Dr. Antoine Colin and Dr. Sam Thompson:

  1. Data & Control Coupling: A Quantitative Approach. We will present an update on an ongoing case study exploring a new approach to Data & Control Coupling (DCCC) analysis, initially presented at the DASC 2024 conference. This case study, conducted jointly by Rapita Systems and Collins Aerospace, aims to establish the foundations of a new method for satisfying the DCCC objective in future DO-178C compliant projects. The approach is built around a new tool, RapiCoupling, currently under development by Rapita Systems. This tool will enable DCCC analysis across different types of software-software interfaces, as well as the generation of quantitative metrics representing the level of test completeness.
  2. Responding to the complexity of multicore certification:  Multicore systems pose certification challenges due to the impact of interference from software running on different cores, reducing the predictability of hosted application behavior. This includes both temporal behavior and the coupling of data and software control. Identifying interference channels and verifying a system's ability to operate reliably given the interference present on the platform is the main focus of airworthiness guidance, but what does it take to complete this analysis and verification?
In this presentation, we provide some insights to answer these questions, based on anonymized data collected during multicore verification projects we have conducted.

Jamie Ayre and Hashem Ghazzawi will also be attending, so if you're at ISCLP 2026, stop by the Rapita booth to talk about how RVS and MACH178 can help you verify safety-critical software with greater efficiency and lower certification risk.
