Why try RapiCover?

RapiCover is a code coverage tool that automates the collection of coverage metrics during testing of your C, C++ or Ada software. RapiCover is designed for embedded systems, including for safety-critical projects, and analyzes coverage up to and including MC/DC. RapiCover is qualifiable for DO-178C (including DAL-A) and ISO 26262 projects.

RapiCover features significantly lower target overheads than other structural coverage tools, helping you to cut the number of builds you need for coverage analysis on even the most constrained systems.

Customers like Collins Aerospace and OHB Sweden cut the number of builds they needed when collecting MCDC coverage metrics using the RapiCover tool, reducing their end-to-end testing time by up to 40%.

RapiCover success story

“Rapita’s highly-optimized instrumenter has allowed us to measure software coverage without costly and burdensome changes to our testing process. We use the tool on some of the world’s most complicated flight control systems. Compared to previous tools we’ve used in the past, RapiCover’s performance has been much more reliable and robust. Rapita’s technical customer service team has been consistently helpful and responsive.”

Collins Aerospace were awarded the contract to develop the flight control system for the Boeing 777X aircraft, which is rated at DAL A under DO-178C. Collins Aerospace chose RapiCover to perform coverage analysis on the flight control system based on its proven track record when used in complex, critical aerospace projects.

RapiCover's low on-target overheads allowed Collins Aerospace to reduce their testing effort by reducing the number of builds needed to collect coverage results, and Rapita's qualification support for RapiCover reduced the cost and risk of Collins Aerospace's tool qualification.
