RapiTest Editor improvements

It’s now easier than ever to author and review tests using RapiTest’s UI-based testing format, the RapiTest Editor. We’ve done a usability overhaul, bringing many quality-of-life enhancements.

Buttons and action labels are easier to read, it's easier to duplicate test vectors, and test review is better supported with improved error reporting and contextual highlighting.

Multicore improvements

We’ve improved how RVS displays and helps you analyze multicore timing results, and improved the usability and expanded the capabilities of custom multicore exports.

New grouping and filtering options make it easier to review results from multicore tests in context, and additional guidance makes it easier to set up results exports.

Discover feature

Call dependencies

It’s now easier to understand your software’s architecture at a glance with RVS’s Dependencies view. We have improved the look and feel of the view, which lets you explore the call dependencies in your code.

You can now filter the view to only show incoming or outgoing calls and unhide specific nodes, and the view now shows dependencies to both expanded and collapsed files by default.

  • Is RVS 3.21 backwards-compatible with previous versions?
  • Which host operating systems can RVS 3.21 be used on?
  • How can I access RVS 3.21?
  • Which new features and enhancements are planned for the next version of RVS?
  • Is RVS 3.21 backwards-compatible with previous versions?

Yes. RVS 3.21 is backwards compatible with previous versions. If you're upgrading from RVS 3.6 or earlier, however, we recommend that you set up a new integration to benefit from the improved project management features introduced in RVS 3.8.

  • Which host operating systems can RVS 3.21 be used on?

RVS 3.21 supports Windows versions 10+, Windows Server versions 2019+, and a variety of Linux distributions including Ubuntu and Red Hat.

RVS tools can be used on projects with unsupported operating systems by using a clone integration to split the process and delegate parts of it to the unsupported machine.

  • How can I access RVS 3.21?

If you have current RVS licenses, consult your tool integrator to upgrade to RVS 3.21.

If you don't have a license, you can learn how RVS can help you by arranging a demo, downloading our free trial version, or contacting us.

  • Which new features and enhancements are planned for the next version of RVS?

You can follow the RVS development roadmap, which we regularly update, on our website.
